My name is Chris Lohrmann. I am the sixth grade teacher at St. Mary's School. This is my fifteenth year as an elementary teacher in the intermediate grades. My educational background includes a B.A. in English, a Master's degree in Elementary Education, and the recent addition of a Reading Endorsement.

This is my fourth year at St. Mary's, and I find it to be a very positive experience. It gives me many opportunities to enrich my faith life and pass that faith on to others. In my classroom, the emphasis is on developing a lifelong love of reading, comprehension strategies for both fiction and non-fiction reading, mastering a variety of writing skills, and preparing for seventh grade in several ways.
