Since St. Mary's School was first constructed in the late 50',
there has been continuous desire for and discussion of how to acquire
the needed funds to build a school gym. Recently our School Board has
decided to actively pursue the addition to our school of both a gym and
four classrooms. The following pages give some proposed architectural design
for such a project. It is our goal to build a gymnasium/auditorium structure
that will benefit the school's PE, Music, After School Care and Academic Programs
starting at Kindergarten. In doing this, St. Rose's could focus on having a
strong program for three as well as four year olds. We also see by building such
a structure will benefit not only students during the day, but our youth in the
evening/weekends as well as providing space for our adult programs and events.
